Australia: Police tell bartenders, waiters and cleaners to be ready to combat Islamic State jihadis

Bartenders, waiters and cleaners have been warned to ready themselves to fight terrorists in the event of attacks.

In the lead up to New Year?s Eve celebrations police are telling nightclubs, restaurants, shopping centres and sports grounds across NSW their staff need to be trained to deal with armed terrorists.

Police have warned front of house staff? across a range if industries to prepare for a probable? terrorist attack, The Daily Telegraph reported.

Senior Sergeant Rob Fleischer said frontline staff need to understand the plans? in the event of an attack.

?A lot of times it?s not going to be us (police) who are going to be dealing with the first five minutes. The first five minutes is front of house staff,? he said.
